Test and Inspection
As an NICEIC registered company you have the confidence all our work is to BS7671 British standards.
At EMF Wiring Solutions we believe that our testing and inspection service is the best way of identifying existing faults so they can be fixed before becoming a hazard.
Regular testing of your electrical circuits and appliances is essential to a safe home. I can issue electrical certificates once my work is completed.
I also work with many landlords by issuing EICR (safety certificates) for their property's.
Fuse Board Change
Keep your electrical installation safe and up to date with a new fuse board. The change should only be made by a qualified electrician who is Part P registered. It is necessary when changing a fuse board to ensure that the earth-bonding arrangements in your property meet current standards and are upgraded if required.
Modern fuse boards are fitted with RCDs, or Residual Current Devices, and MCBs, or Micro Circuit Breakers. These efficient devices are designed to detect faults in your circuits, and cut the current in an instant should anything unusual be identified. Significantly reducing the risk of electric shock and the sparks or overheating that can cause electrical fires, these modern circuit breakers offer great peace of mind.
We are always happy to take on small jobs. If you are in need of a new light installed or a cracked socket changed just give us a call. All circuits will be checked beforehand and the necessary test will be carried out.
We accept card payments to make our service as convenient as possible.
Having a fuse constantly blowing or tripping can be a nuisance. With years of experience locating faults in domestic properties I a sure you I will find the problem and provide a safe solution.
A good way to prevent these fault occurring is to have regular testing of your electrical circuits and appliances. Most faults can be diagnosed within the hour.
If you would like me to carry out a EMF survey and do not live in Essex, please contact me because there is a good chance I will travel outside of Essex. A EMF survey will determine if you a have a problem with high electromagnetic fields in your property. Then looking at how to solve the high levels of EMFs, by for example locating wiring faults or installing demand switches.
A rewire could mean one new circuit installed for example a shower circuit or a whole property being rewired. These jobs require experts and experience to be sure the job has been done to the BS7671 regulations. All work must be tested and an Electrical Installation Certificate must be issued on completion.
This can be a messy job so it is essential that we take care of your property and leave it in a tidy and clean way once we have completed the work.
